A Snuggly Mother's Day

Mason, Morgan, and I tried out another new church this morning - we really liked this one - and when we got home, we found Michael and Maddox asleep on the couch... odd. But one touch of Maddox's head explained it. He was burning up with fever. Needless to say, he didn't feel much like doing anything other than cuddling on the couch watching movies.

So that's how I spent my Mother's Day... snuggled up with my little guy (and all his blankies) drifting in and out of sleep while we watched Madagascar II, Cars, Spirit, and Bolt. It was drizzly and chilly outside anyway, so this was a perfect way to spend the day. Notice he has "one sock on and one sock off"... that's the way he likes it. He's in bed now - his fever broke a little bit ago.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you Moms out there -- and as for my Mom, I sure missed you today...
