Our very dear friends, Trey and Heidi (who have been together for a decade!), decided to finally tie the knot... but they wanted to do it with style! They are avid cyclists, so they had the ceremony along their favorite bike trail in Fruita! We all hiked and/or cycled out to their chosen spot, which was a beautiful cliff overlooking the river down below. There was no officiant - they performed their own wedding...
I love this next photo of some of our "wedding party" blowing bubbles for the newlyweds!
What is a wedding without a garter?
...and look who caught it!
The bride and groom, as well as their witnesses, signed the marriage license... and now it's official!
They rode out in style...
And their reception was back at the campsite!
I love these bicycles that were made specially for their wedding cake:
Congrats to the happy "NEWLY-weds!"

Glenwood Springs
Now that Maddox has mastered the art of swimming, Glenwood Springs became a lot more fun...!
The guys all took a break and sat in the "bubble jet" chairs!
Maddox can hang with the big boys and jump off the diving board all by himself!

Mauii With Maddox!
We have been extremely fortunate to visit Hawaii on several occasions through Michael's company. Three of the times we went, we took the older boys and left little Maddox with Grammy & CooPop. This time, however, we decided it was only fair to leave the big boys at home and take just Maddox with us. Here are just some of our favorite photos from the trip:
Maddox loved playing on the beach - but what boy doesn't?!
We stayed at the Grand Wailea again - Michael and I have been here several times already, so it was wonderful to show it to little Maddox! This was his first real experience swimming on his own - he still had some fear, but with the help of this fun resort, he was a FISH by the end of our trip!
We enjoyed all of the wonderful water slides on the property!
They have a super cool "water elevator" that takes you back up to the top after you've slid all the way down!
By the end of the trip, Maddox was fearless! ...he must've jumped off this rope swing 100 times.
And at the end of each day, it was obvious that we plumb tuckered this little guy out!
While Maddox was at kid's camp one day, we went out with other Salesforce.com employees for some sun & snorkeling!
Our last night there was spent at a Salesforce.com 60s dance party. Michael and I had fun dressing the part!
He got his hands on this wig and I think it really finished off our look!!
Alas, the sun sets on another glorious vacation...

Family Bike Ride
In the cool Spring temperatures, one of our favorite things to do is go for a fun family bike ride! This time, we went down to Denver and rode on the path along this creek. It makes for a beautiful place to rest...
Enough resting... Dad says it's time to get moving!
And after the ride, we can go back up the mountain and COOL OFF!
Hard to believe it was the same day, huh? There's usually a 10 degree difference between our home and Denver... and our snow takes a long time to completely go away!

Easter 2013
We got to use our own chicken eggs for dipping this year... and because our hens lay brown and green eggs, the dyes created some "alternative" colors!
But the kids had fun regardless!
Happy Easter!

Swimming at the Apex Center
The Apex Center is a fun place to swim down near Denver. It is also a great incentive to getting Maddox proficient at swimming! When they are having fun, they forget to be afraid!
