Although Maddox's ice skating abilities are improving, he still uses his handy-dandy PVC "walker." We get a lot of comments on it, too... folks always wish they had something like that for their own kiddos.

A Visit From EJ!
We were blessed to have my oldest nephew, EJ, come stay with us for a few days in early January! We took him to ice skate on the lake - one of our favorite winter activities. They still had ice sculptures left over from their New Year's celebration.
Although Maddox's ice skating abilities are improving, he still uses his handy-dandy PVC "walker." We get a lot of comments on it, too... folks always wish they had something like that for their own kiddos.
I love this next photo - EJ is the oldest cousin and Maddox is the youngest... what a difference!
And it goes without saying that there was a whole lot of ping-pong going on downstairs!
We love having EJ stay with us - he's such a fun, polite young man. But then, aren't all the Guvernator men?
