Seeing as how I'm in my 40s now, I think I'm entitled to a little bit of crazy spontaneity, right? Well, I've been admiring women with pretty nose "bling" and I finally decided to do it myself! I researched where I would have it done - I had strict requirements that eliminated seedy tattoo joints. I ended up finding a beautiful place in downtown Denver owned by a neat guy who only does piercings - no tattoos. His studio is gorgeous, without any drug paraphernalia and scary-looking guys that other low-class joints have. In fact, the place was so clean, I was comfortable having Maddox accompany us. Plus, the client in front of me was a 10-year old little girl getting her ears pierced for the first time.
So, I went forth and endured what I thought would be a painful experience, only to be PLEASANTLY surprised at how easy it was! He is very particular about sterilization, and he uses a needle - piercing guns actually hurt worse. It was truly a piece of cake! Yay!! Michael documented the experience as he and Maddox watched.
I like it and Michael likes it, so I guess that's all that matters! (and I think the boys think it's cool, too, which is just a bonus!)
