Fun in the Snow

After a big snow, we are usually treated to a gorgeous day of sunshine when the snow simply sparkles.  I've never seen anything quite like it, and although I cannot capture the sparkle on camera, I can show you this gorgeous sunset.

When we get a lot of snow, the boys love to go outside and... be boys!  This usually involves building quinzees and snow forts.

...and burying each other in the snow.

And Maddox tried out his new snowshoes.  This happy picture was followed by sadness that these shoes did not live up to their expectation.  

Boys will always be boys!  And I'm so grateful to be their momma!
