A Big Snow

We got quite a bit of snow today.  We needed the moisture, but it makes tending the chickens a bit more challenging - take a look.  I am standing on the patio, and I have to get all the way up there to the coop!

Here it is after my shoveling job:

After opening their door, the chickens seemed to say, "If you think I'm going out in that, you're crazy!" I don't blame them.

For all of my efforts, here was my reward:

I'd say that's a pretty fair deal.  ;)
