Pike's Peak

We spent a weekend in Colorado Springs for Mason's marching band competition, and after that was over, we took the opportunity to go up Pike's Peak Cog Railway.

 It was absolutely beautiful at the top... but also VERY cold!!

Look at my son... he's taller than me now.

Here's proof how high up we were:

 Before we headed back down, we enjoyed some hot chocolate and donuts in the shop at the top.  Another landmark checked off our list!
